One of my great friends, Dustin Stout, has been an evangelist for Google+ even before it was available for people to us. While in his exuberance for the platform, I was a bit hesitant because it all seemed to be too good to be true. Did he have nothing bad to say about the platform?
After a bit of pressing, Dustin came up with this impressive infographic of three things that he would like to see changed.
What would you like to see Google+ do?

Yes, yes, YES!!!
Don’t know why the full API is still under wraps…
Eric Dye says
Agreed. This would give Facebook a run for their money!

One of the problems I have with Google+ is the visual design and the lack of user friendly features. One of the features that both Twitter and Facebook has is the simplicity and obvious way to use them. I have a Google+ account, and I post there occasionally, but I don’t have the time or inclination to sort out all of the features, discarding the superfluous. And, it appears to me to have quite a bit of superfluous features. I just don’t see the point of using Google+ when I have Facebook and Twitter.

G+ already does the first two, kinda of. Snapseed (for iOS and android) from Google posts directly to Google+ – they just need to fully integrate it into the app… the filters, IMO, are worlds better than instagram.
Item 2 can be accomplished with circles. I have a circle called notifications and have the noise slider turned all the way up – that notifies me (on iOS app and in the notification square) whenever a member of that circle posts.

Notifications (as noted in the infographic) are already fully active. I noted that in my original blog post as well. The photos feature, however, leaves much to be desired. IMHO, it lacks the simplicity and ease of use that Instagram has. I think if they incorporated it into the current app they would do a much better job because they’d probably be forced to simplify it and trim some of the excess bloat.
