Another week, another weekend, another Saturday Sunday Share–served hot!
Here’s a quick peek at last week’s shares:
- Paul Clifford – got some cool news from Outreach Magazine!
- Jason Bradley – launched a sweet Standard child theme!
- Raoul Snyman – built an EPIC train track!
What have you been working on this past week?
This is a great place for some praises and/or critiques. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, after all, you’re among friends 😉
Let’s see what you’ve got for us this week!

Worked quite a few late nights over last couple of weeks to produce a new film for New Wine here in the UK.
I’ve been working with New Wine for a while now and on this project I was able to help them take a risk and do something different to their usual summer promo approach and the end result is something I’m really pleased with and they’re really pleased with:

Great video, but I still can’t get over how great your website is looking and behaves.
Mark Robinson says
Thanks bro – there’s still an issue on small screens with the portfolio filter but I’ll get to it at some point!
Eric Dye says
You’re so pro. 🙂
Paul Clifford (@PodcastinChurch) says
Worked the last few weeks at a local race track for a company that tracks the horses in real time with animated graphics.
I continue to write and I’m planning my NaNonFiWriMo project. My editor is making progress editing “The Serving Church” and I’ve recruited a good number of beta readers. I’m thinking about a bit of a crazy promotion for when it releases in a bid to be on the best-seller list on Amazon. If I decide to go that way, I’ll mention it here when it’s closer.
I think I’ve nailed down my business model more. I’m planning on writing/blogging daily, podcasting, and screencasting tutorials weekly. I hope I can build an audience and try to monetize that (so I can keep doing it, not because I want to be rich or anything).
Paul

Cool stuff, Paul! Keep it up, man!

This week in OpenLP we had to make the decision to delay our release for a month. Originally we were going to release version 2.0 this weekend, but after looking at some of the outstanding bugs, and some of the peripheral things (like the new site, the user guide and the translations), we decided that we need more time[0].
I also blogged part 7[1] of my Learning Python tutorial series on my Christians in OSS blog. Was hoping to blog part 8 on Friday, but I haven’t had the time to put the finishing touches on it yet.

By the way, I like the idea of a Coffee theme 🙂
Eric Dye says
Although I wasn’t planning on a coffee theme … I like your thinking … 😉
Mark Robinson says
I agree! I don’t drink coffee but I like the look and smell and the application above! Nice typography too.
Eric Dye says
Thanks, Mark!

This week was busy. Spent the week at a VisualStory workshop @ Duarte Design in Mtn View, CA. If you give presentations or do any kind of speaking, this is the workshop you should take.
I (finally) got the sliders to start working on my re-branded site (http://daveanthold.com). I am transitioning my photography blog onto this new site. This will be the new home of my personal blog & still working on “work” site.
Doing some brainstorming on a couple of e-books that I hope to launch by the end of the year. That’s about it for this week.
Dave Anthold says
P.S. Love the coffee theme!!
Eric Dye says
Lookin’ good Dave!
