Since WordPress 3.4, you can quickly and easily add Twitter embeds (learn how).
The only down side, however, is this new option “breaks” when you’re running a responsive theme. So, everything will look find and dandy when you’re viewing your website in a standard browser desktop setting, but when you roll over to a tablet or smartphone, it pukes.

How-To Make WordPress Tween Embeds Responsive
Assuming the theme you’re running is using entry-content for the class name for your content wrapper, simply add this to your CSS stylesheet:
.entry-content .twitter-tweet-rendered {
max-width: 100% !important;
}
Yeah. It’s that easy.
