With turn.js, you can easily add a page turning effect that’s made by HTML5.
Best of all, it works on tablets and smartphones!
turn.js
Although you can just “click the corners” to flip through the pages, you can also use your arrow keys. In the case of a touch mobile device, you just swipe through the pages.
I tried the turn.js demo on a smartphone sized screen and found it hard to read without zooming in. All in all, it was hard to navigate, even though the swiping through the pages was really cool. In the case of a tablet, this would be awesome!!! It would fit the screen well, be easy to read, and the swiping through the pages would be very natural.
If you think this the perfect solution for an upcoming web project, you’ll be happy to find out it’s lightweight — weighing in at only 6K.
Learn more, give it a try (you really should try it out, turn.js is really beautiful) and download it from the turn.js website.
