Do you know who this is?
This is an employee of ACS Technologies, but it’s actually you and me.
You see, Marvin Owen started with ACS Technologies in 1983. I know there are plenty of you reading that may not have been born yet or even old enough to be in school, let alone be working on at a computer (yes, they had computers in 1983). In fact, Nintendo launched the 8-bit NES in Japan that same year, and it didn’t arrive in the U.S. until 1985.
When Marvin started, there were only six employees and sixty churches using ACS. After 28 years, not much has changed.
Sure, the computer is faster, far more churches are using ChMS technology, and we have this nifty thing called the Internet, but nothing has changed.
In the world of technology, we are all still pioneers, there’s something new tomorrow, and our mission is still the same:
Use technology to effectively fulfill our mission to the world.
Don’t forget The Mission.
