I think many of us have grown exceptionally comfortable with using Firebug as a testbed of sorts for making changes to markup, styles, and perhaps even JavaScript in order to see the changes before actually editing any files.
It’s convenient, right?
The Developer’s CodeBox for WordPress allows us to do similar work within WordPress.
Developer’s CodeBox gives you the ability to write any markup and styles and execute any PHP-based code in your live WordPress environment; however, unlike tools such as Firebug, this is running in a live environment and can alter the database.
Download the plugin, install it, and you’re ready to work.
