Ugh! Really? They need to define their terms and get a proof reader. I use both. My Windows PCs have been much more stable and reliable than my Macbook which I’ve had to completely flatten 3 times in 4 years. My Dell laptop has only been reloaded once to upgrade to Windows 7 in the same time frame.

Didn’t a virus come out a week or so ago that was for Macs? You know, if Mac people keep bragging that they are immune to viruses…
If Windows can run on a Mac, why can’t Mac OS be run on a Windows computer?
As for Windows being ‘incomparable’ to Macs in multimedia, um, really?
And what does reliability have to do with moving program files?
Josh Wagner says
Yes, a new nasty trojan came out. You still have to give permission to install it, though, I think.
And I’m fairly sure Mac OS X can’t be run on Windows boxes because Apple doesn’t want it to.
Josh Wagner says
I’ve used both for about 8 years now. My Macs have been rock solid for me, I’ve had very few problems. The hardware running Windows XP and Vista that I’ve used hasn’t been nearly as good as my Macs, which can influence your experience. I would tend to agree with the graphic. I love using Macs and if I could I’d only use them.

Being a web designer, photographer, video & sound guy at church and MAC & PC repair consultant. (for the glory of God) I would definitely agree that MACs are more reliable, secure, cutting edge, and all around user friendly than PCs. I usually liken a PC to a room that has many things and features, but they’re laying around on the floor and on the bed, (Lord knows how the closet looks) and when you go look for something, you’re not sure exactly where it is but you scan the room in search for something that looks like what it is you want, till you find it! Although once you have it, its still very useful. But when you go into the MAC room, you find everything you want, neatly organized and looking very modern and fashionable! And everything works as soon as you plug it in. So in the MAC vs. PC contest, my rating would be 4.8 stars for MAC(the reason for not giving 5 is I’d like to see them add the hdmi port and I’d like to see all popular software compatible with MAC) And the PC with win 7 would get 4 stars. I would like to be able to plug in a projector and have it work auto. And they could create better categorization, in their control panel. And more:) but all that is from my for-what-its-worth dept.

On the user end, I like OS X. It looks pretty, acts good, and does what you want it too.
HOWEVER
On the server end, I am PC all the way. XServe is a terrible product and not nearly as convenient. Ever try to deploy OS X to 75 computers at once? If so, you know what I mean.

Mac looks awesome and works perfectly (for what I do). ‘Nuff said.
Matt Phelps says
I have to agree with you there, Mac does look good. But, at least in my opinion, so does Win 7. (Notice I didn’t say Vista or XP?) And it works perfectly for what I do. When it comes down to it, as long as the OS you are using works for what you’re doing, you’re set. If it had the right software for what I do, I’d be saying the same thing about Ubuntu.
