I’m not a big fan of “Getting Things Done” type apps because I haven’t found one that I really like but I’m just downloaded a new one that looks pretty simple and useful: Task Touch.
I’m curious: How many of you guys are using something like this daily?
I’m digging the simplicity without compromising functionality – it’s just obvious what is needed to be done and tasks, etc.
Thoughts? It’s not free, which is ok as long as I continue to use the darn thing…

I see a number of these apps, but like you, I haven’t found one that I really like yet. Also, I’m not sure if it would be beneficial or just another “task” in my daily routine.
Maybe one day, I’ll give it a go.

I’ve used Appigo ToDo (on and off) for more than a year and a half. When I’m really on-target, the app is fantastic and it really works well for GTD. It syncs to Toodledo and it used to sync to Remember the Milk (which is too bad it doesn’t anymore). The biggest drawback to it is that there is no apparent way to do a weekly review using it. What I most wish Appigo would do is make a cloud offering to allow you to do fast input, sync, and a weekly review from a desktop web browser.
The things I like about Appigo ToDo is that you can make Projects, Tasks, Subtasks, and Checklists. It does push notifications, and it has a great, customizable “Focus” list that puts just the right amount of your tasks in front of you at the right time.
I’ve tried SmartyTask and like it for a great web-based GTD and it looks nice on iPhone, but the price is a little more than I’m willing to pay and I still feel some of the ToDo features are better than SmartyTask. I also tried NotifyMe 2, but still can’t quite get myself into the GTD groove with the way their app works.

I’ve used CulturedCode’s Things since day one. I started using it on my Mac and now sync between my iPhone and my iPad. It’s clean, robust, and allows me to quickly capture my tasks and projects on-the-fly while I am thinking about them. I use these apps pretty much daily andnit has really helped my productivity and kept me from forgetting things.

I’ve been using action method and I love it! It’s a free app for the iphone but a paid subscription online. It works great for your own work flow, but also allows you to delegate things to others if you have the online subscription.

Our Student Ministry team is currently using THINGS… Right now all of us have the desktop application and a few of us have the iPhone app that goes along with it. Personally I don’t have the app but love the program that lives on my macbook. As the creative director I work for 4 different ministries and would go insane without something to manage my workflow and tasks… check it out for a month for free.
