We have an opening within our team and are looking for someone amazing to fill it. We’d love to have someone that is a rockstar at creating great content, reading analytics, and pixel perfect Photoshop skills. Even more so, we are looking for someone who is a fan of ChurchMag and gets the culture of church tech and nerd life. If that fits you, take a minute to think if you’d like to join our social media team.
If you are interested, read the expectations below and then shoot me an email at [email protected] that you are interested.
We have been doing social media for quite a while. Some times we were on it, other times, not so much. I love the opportunity of being able to do this with ChurchMag for this last season. In the last two months, I have made a new commitment to own other parts of ChurchMag and will officially take a more overseeing of the ChurchMag social media. To clarify, this is not a part-time paid position.
But you don’t have to start from nothing.
What We Have To Offer
- You won’t be doing this alone. Myself, Eric Dye, Chris Wilson, and others will be offering assistance along the way. Everything that happens in ChurchMag is intertwined. We shot off so many ideas in the background, you can get honest and helpful critiques, and you will be encouraged as you connect.
- You will have freedom. There won’t be micromanaging. We have one goal, to connect and support the Church through our techie skills as we encourage, empower, and equip others like us all over the world.
- You can expect to have fun. In the 2 hours a week I’ve been doing this, and that’s all we expect of you, I’ve connected with a lot of people. I have many great stories which go beyond a couple of tweets info late night laughs via email, video chats with hopes and prayers, and emails of encouragement to and from others. We don’t expect it but do you should anticipate your heart going that route.
- We can train you for success. Because we are so networked and have a vast amount of experience, you can guarantee you’ll come out of this experience with a wealth of information. We also have a lot of structure setup to create content, you get to deploy them and enhance the process your way.
Our Hopes
We are looking for someone to own this, make it yours. We have a lot of projects and areas of expansion and growth over the next two years, so be prepared to be part of something exciting.
We also want to see the social media accounts themselves become a ministry as you not only share content but interact with the same and followers who leave comments, like our page, and private message us with all sorts of questions and love.
If your interested, shoot me an email at [email protected] with two things:
- What makes you a ChurchMag fan.
- What social media fun would you love to do?
Speak your mind...
