Do you ever feel like you are running ragged? Sure, you haven’t burnt out yet, but you can see it in the distance. You’d never get there because you are mildly aware of your own capacities, but let’s be honest, you are not achieving amazingness right now either.
- Creating is hard.
- Being a parent is hard.
- Serving in a ministry is hard.
Wait… what about you… what about God?
We give and give and give. Feels like we are spinning our wheels, our self-esteem is dropping, and all is lost.
That’s where Kevin Hendrick’s eBook, Is Your Church Ready to Quit?, comes in.
Is Your Church Ready to Quit?
The tagline and foundation of the eBook is based off of this: Every Thursday Bob Goff quits something. We wrote a book about it The idea is from a quote by Bob Goff:
“I used to be afraid of failing at something that really mattered to me. But now I’m more afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter.”
Short But Oh So Sweet
If you could make an eBook that is tweetable or perfect for your daily desk calendar you tear off, this would be it. (In fact, Kevin, you should make that happen. Idea is free of charge. ?)
In fact, Kevin says up front that you do not have to read the whole book in one sitting. I encourage you not to. I got the eBook two weeks ago and let it sink in. So much better.
Also, can we just note how amazingly the breadth of the content that is given? Yeah, check it out. (I wonder what he quit to get this eBook done!)
Right now, Kevin even has a couple of posts up from the eBook that you could check out now without purchasing it.
