I agree. I hate being in what Seth Godin calls “The Dip” (the time after you start, but before you get good enough to support yourself consistantly), but I’d rather languish here than be well-paid and miserable, feeling trapped by money.
I have at least one friend who is doing a job (he’s an assistant dean at a college, so not an easy job to get), but he feels trapped because he’s used to making decent money. He wishes he could pursue a dream and do something risky, but the fear is too much.

Great article! I agree, it is so easy to get caught up in the doing of life and making sure that we fulfil all of our duties that we often feel bound and unable to be creative.
You are right; when we know that God has definitely called us to pursue something (be it Bible College, writing a blog etc) we do just need to jump in and by faith trust that He will make a way for His plans to be fulfilled in our lives!
