I’m a fan of TED Conference talks.
Some people are really hooked and watch all of them. My personal favorites are the two with Sir Ken Robinson, who is looking to change American education for the better and looking to emphasize creativity as a major factor.

i probably haven’t watched enough to have a favourite although I quite liked Eric Whitacre’s talk on the virtual choir ( http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/eric_whitacre_a_virtual_choir_2_000_voices_strong.html ) Susan Cain’s talk on introversion ( http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/susan_cain_the_power_of_introverts.html ) generated a lot of good conversation among my housemates.
