I absolutely love this idea.
YouVersion, within an announcement about how best to “scale user support” mentioned that they are now on the lookout for Community Champions with an emphasis to start “leaning more heavily on volunteers” to help troubleshoot and answer support.
Here’s what they are looking for:
- Used YouVersion for at least 4 months on a very regular basis
- Very familiar with the main website and at least one YouVersion mobile application
- Displayed the ability and willingness to meaningfully help other YouVersion users in the public support forums by answering questions or providing guidance

The reason that I love this idea is that it’s exactly what we’re going to be looking for in the larger 8BIT Network: Community Champions.
Not only that, we’re looking for too, one’s that are super passionate about building this network that they are willing to volunteer some of their time (not much) to engage and grow with us.
Stay tuned for more info. We’re building out the requirements and responsibilities soon.

John, super-excited to see how the concept of Community Champions materializes within the 8BIT Network. There are a ton of smart people that enjoy your content and I’m sure tons of them would salivate at the chance to contribute in ways beyond just guest blogging.
Rock on!
