Sleep is so hard to get when you have young children. Even more so when you are active families. Even more so when you try to “hustle.” (But you already know my thoughts on that…)
I truly feel it when I don’t get the sleep. I’m unable to focus when things are noisy, cannot get creative when trying to write or vlog, and task switching becomes so frustrating. Maybe we should fix that.
Here are my three favorite sleep tips from the infographic below:
- Not getting enough sleep can significantly reduce your memory creation and consolidation, creativity, and health.
- The amount of sleep an adult needs to operate optimally is 7-8 hours and anything less over a period of time is risking sleep-deprivation.
- If you have been failing with your sleep, you can settle your short-term sleep debt, change your habits so you get long-term sleep, and avoid going back into sleep-debt.
