If you have a modern touchscreen smartphone with even “mid-level” specs, you probably have come to understand that the beautiful screens and processing power most likely come with a major battery tax. Most people who use their devices even moderately probably won’t expect two or three hours without getting some juice. These certainly aren’t PDAs we carry!
But, what would you do for a week without having to plug in?
Would you give up the bright screen?
How about sometimes?

I have no idea how practical the dual screens work in real life, but I am intrigued by the theory… you use the E Ink side for non-intensive tasks and such. There is chatter about standalone E-Ink devices, as well as “upgrade panels” for popular devices. All in all? Fascinating.
Would you be tempted by an E Ink or dual screen device?
