Google Docs is a pretty cool for online office applications.
It’s web-based, so you can save and access your files online which is great for those who are on the move.
Here is a new tool that works in a similar fashion, however, it’s tailored more specifically to the craft of book writing.
Introducing, Write.Li.
I love the quote on their homepage from Joseph Epstein of the NY Times:
According to a recent survey, 81 percent of Americans feel they have a book in them – and that they should write it.
The folks at Write.Li are hoping to help some of those 81 percent by offering this really cool online tool:
- Online
We’ve created an online app where you can write your book(s) online. Safely work on your writings, wherever you are. Your writings belong to you, download whenever you want. - All In One
Everything you need is there. Research, tasks, characters, notes etc. All-in-one software to write your long awaited bestseller. And we keep making it better for our writers. - Easy
It’s easy, it’s simple, it’s built so that everyone can work with it. A clean interface with all the functions you need. As a member, you’ll also get unlimited support.
It looks really cool and promising! Unfortunately, it’s still in limited beta.
I’ll let you know when Write.Li is ready for you to spin your first novel.
