WPML is a simple plugin for WordPress or WordPress MU that enables you to have a fully fleshed multilingual content management system.
“Wow” is all I could muster the first time I saw it. I had to try it for myself. Installation was flawless and it was easy to get started.
It can be configured if you’re into subdomains or folders for your blogs, and if you’d like to use WPMU you can have each install support a different language. Management from the backend is robust as well, as you can choose different languages for pages, posts, tags and categories. Even the admin language can be changed.
If you’re interested in providing experiences for other languages, consider checking this out. I’d love to see someone completely rock this.

That IS pretty awesome! If/When we get some WP blogs setup for different ministries at our church, it could really help us. Naperville, IL has a sister city (Nitra, Slovakia)… I've been there twice on mission trips. OSLC helped start a Lutheran church there… just 10 years after they were freed from Communism! It would be cool for them to be able to read our blogs in Slovak!
Huzzah!

you know of any sites already using this plugin? I'd like to see it in action – if it's as robust and bomb-diggity as you make it sound, it could save my presbytery (and many churches) a nice pocketful of cash.

I love Wilson Audio. I actually own the very first production pair of Wilson Audio Tiny Tots (WATTs).
