As worship leaders we are often in a league of our own (interpret that how you want 😉 ). We are usually misunderstood, ignored, or just too plain cool for everyone else.
Pretty Funny! Pretty True!
On the surface, the average churchgoer probably assumes we pick a few songs, gather for a quick practice, and then sing it as best as you can. But contrary to that, let’s assume that as worship leaders we take our calling very seriously. So much so that we actually want to give our best, we strive for excellence, and we want our worship team to do the same. [In the process however, let’s not make it overly spiritual, or too technical. Rather, a healthy balance of both.]
I strongly believe that If we want excellence from our worship teams, as worship leaders, we need to equip them with the right tools to achieve it.
Thankfully, today we have many tools at our disposal to help us get to that level and I want to introduce you to Worship Artistry.
Worship Artistry
From browsing through the pages, I can see this resource being a major hit with your guitar players. Imagine your guitar player sitting at home trying to learn a Lincoln Brewster guitar solo and eventually frustration ensues! With Worship Artistry guitarists get a complete breakdown of the song from strumming patterns, chords, chord charts, lead charts, and close-up videos of the guitarists playing the songs.

Here are a few more screenshots.
They also have a great lineup of popular Christian worship songs.
For those worship leaders who are not guitarists, this tool is a great way to push your guitarists to learn songs without you trying to teach them – however awkward that might look. This tool works exceptionally well when combined with online guitar lessons.
In their own words:
Worship Artistry’s interactive online guitar lessons help you master today’s top worship songs – all from the convenience of your computer, smartphone or tablet. Whether you are a pastor looking to equip your worship team, or an individual picking up the guitar for the very first time, Worship Artistry will help you bring your best.
