Inside The World’s First Video Game Easter Egg [Video]

If you have read the latest nerdy phenomenon, Ready Player One, you probably already know a little about the world’s first video game Easter egg inside of the groundbreaking video game “Adventure” for the Atari 2600. The video game was designed by Warren Robinett and the Easter egg was his response to a hostile work environment to video game programmers at the time. A huge commercial success, the game sold over one million cartridges and the company did not know about the Easter egg until it was too late.
