I’ve seen this term plenty times before, but I hadn’t ever thought about it much. After all, we have Christian music, Christian books, Christian videos, etc… So, the idea of Christian blogger falls right in line with everything else we’ve labeled as, Christian.
So what is a Christian blogger, anyway?
As it relates to music and books, the label of “Christian” tends to be applied to the genre of the artform, the focus or topic. So, then, are Christian bloggers only those who write about Christian topics?
Or would a Christian who happens to be a blogger also be a Christian blogger?
Are there Christian accountants?
I’m curious.
What is a Christian blogger?

Hum…Almost like you stole my question from the Christian Bloggers Community on Google plus (or is it just serendipity). I’d say that A christian who blogs is a christian blogger. A Christian Blog, however, takes an explicitly christian view to the world.
Therefor I am a Christian Blogger, but my English Language teaching Blog isn’t a Christian Blog as the primary focus is on Teaching English as a foreign language, however, my faith does influence some of my philosophical bias as an English teacher which will come out in the blog as well so there may be a Christian undertone.
Just my two cents (or pennies)

I would say the later, Chris (unless you’ve been snooping in my blog post drafts—LOL!).
As for your definition, I agree. 🙂

LOL!

I agree with Chris. A Christian blogger is a Christian who writes (blogs) with a Christian worldview. The topics may not necessarily or overtly be Christian, but the slant of the article will be towards Christianity. An example would be someone writing about music or movies, but from a Christian respective.

Although I agree with Chris, too, as I survey my own writing I find that the blogs would be labeled as “Christian.” So there’s that… #wahwah

When did the word ‘christian’ become an adjective anyway? 🙂
