The recent EPIC FAIL of Blippy having user’s credit card numbers visible via Google made me do a quick scan of sensitive information that passes into my business and ministry.
It really is an unbelievable breach…!
Are you sure sensitive information on your sites isn’t accessible via Google?
Time to double-check…

Yeah, I wonder how fast they get sued…
The real problem with blippy is that they are not communicating with their user base. That is the biggest fail. They should have someone doing email/twitter/facebook/everything going overboard on the apologies.
I know my info on mint.com is pretty safe, but this thing made me rethink putting any information on the web.

I was sent a link of that today (among a bunch of others), and I was trying to figure out how I got to the Sorry page for Google. Seems at least they thought it a good thing to stop letting people search that stuff.
Stephen Bateman says
That is ridiculously unacceptable. It’s a social network and no one there understands what is being sent to freaking GOOGLE.
Googlebot finds all haha

pwned!
JT says
The real problem is that some people think using blippy is a good idea.
