You have to see it to really appreciate what the guys over at the Wave Study Bible are looking at launching in the coming weeks.
Essentially, with the Wave Study Bible, you can view multiple translations of the Scriptures at the same time, including Greek, Hebrew, and more! I’m loving it:
This isn’t like any Bible you have seen. Built for the average person and not the Biblical scholar, the Wave Study Bible makes it simple to integrate the Word into your daily life.
Check out this video after the jump and some highlights of this must-download app:
Amazing.
Here’s a few things of note:
- Multiple ways to view, search, and find.
- Dynamic, smart, and quick lookup features.
- Advanced and intuitive search.
- Cool “shake the device” feature. This was neat.
- Greek and Hebrew study without knowing either one of them.
- Bookmarking.
- Tutoring and Bible study help.
- Advanced personalization.
- Store and purchasing options.
I’m going to get a BETA copy. I can’t wait.

This looks great! I’m definitely grabbing this app. I love my Hebrew Greek Study Bible but it is big and heavy to take with me everywhere. With this app I could still enjoy my Bible reading, along with deeper study, on the go. Great extra features, too. Seems well thought out. Thanks for sharing!!

Sweet! I can see something like this being extremely useful on the iPad. iPhone screen may be a touch too small for heavy use.
Awesome concept and follow thru though. (especially the free part!) ๐
John Saddington says
seriously. looks awesome.

I second your iPad thought. This might be a little clunky for the iPhone (3 versions on one screen??)
But for iPad, watch out!

ipad ftw!

This is really cool, but looks like it is only available for iPhone, and not the more superior DROID. ๐

A good resource for readers of the original languages ; however the lexicons in quite a number of instances, are not exhaustive enough to even give you the basic translation of a hebrew or greek word…
