I remember when I first saw some Tim Challies share his visual theology infographics back in 2012.
They were so cool!
Infographics are a lot of fun, but I had never seen them done so well – both visually and content wise – ever before. We shared them on ChurchMag not just once or twice, but three times!
So when I received a cool complimentary copy of an entire book based on this concept, I was ecstatic.
Visual Theology
Theology can be difficult to digest. If anything else, it can be rather dry. Visual Theology, however, is done in a beautiful and inviting way.
Unlike so many other books, this is one you’ll want in hard copy, laying out in plain view in your home. You can pick-it up and read deep thought provoking concepts whenever you fancy, plus, it’s a great conversation starter when friends visit.
Visual Theology brings the discussion of theology back to the coffee table.
Just look at this beauty:
I’ve followed Tim Challies for a long time and he’s theologically sound and Josh Byers is a dynamic communicator. Challies and Byers make a dynamic-duo that created a real knockout with Visual Theology.
It’s ten chapters long, broken down into four sections:
- Grow Close to Christ
- Understand the Work of Christ
- Become Like Christ
- Live for Christ
My copy has been following me around. You’ll either find it at my desk or by my nightstand – always waiting for me to pick it up and give me something to chew on.
I would love to see more of these published. I absolutely love it.
