Sin apparently doesn’t have any issues (or challenges) with the varying different devices or mediums that we choose to use to consume content.
It just makes sense then that people and businesses begin to explore the use of mobile technology for pornography. As one such report states:
It’s a maxim of technology: Invent the newest gadget and the porn industry will find a way to cash in.
So when Apple Inc. launched the iPhone 4 and its FaceTime videoconference feature, it didn’t take long for adult-entertainment companies to develop video-sex chat services and start hiring workers through Craigslist.
This is an unfortunate opportunity that some cash in on. One such owner of a adult entertainment company said the following:
Boyer said his company began planning for iPhone 4 video services almost as soon as the device hit stores. They should be ready in a matter of weeks. Boyer said the company will offer FaceTime sessions with some of the same women who appear in its videos.
“It has a very personal feel – your mobile phone to hers,” he said.
Wow. That’s pretty incredible.
Honestly I hadn’t thought of it (which I count as a good thing) when I first experienced Apple’s FaceTime but it seriously does make sense. It could definitely “change” things, that’s for sure.

Yep.

Technology has always been a two-edged sword; someone will always find a way to abuse it. It’s unfortunate that the pornography industry is always riding the lip of whatever tech wave is rolling in.
