I hope in the past couple of years on ChurchmMag, I have made my case for using Google+ for marketing with your church. If not, then read this, this, and this before continuing.
You should also note that this is but one road to connecting with people online. This should be just one of numerous ideas for you to engage well with people, but it definitely is an avenue that has largely been neglected, yet has so much potential.

Here are three ideas adapted from the infographic below:
- Your Google+ page allows customers to find you on Google Platforms, including Maps and Search. That is FREE advertising!
- Google+ Hangouts may be the greatest thing Google+ has to offer and churches could easily find themselves doing recorded hangouts for members that cannot attend in person or connecting with missionaries across the world.
- The benefits of Google+ on search results is seen in study after study. Being active and engaging increases your visibility on Google+. So when a new family searches for a church in Sometown, California, your church will jump to the top.
