When you create content, you are drawing from a well of inspiration, whether it is photography, videography, or blogging. That’s tough because you are starting from scratch. The alternative is that you take news and talk about it, even though you do not know much about it. And you blog because it’s a hot topic and exploit this “you must click it” article.
What are your thoughts? Am I overreacting?

Yea, I know it may be cliche at this point, but this verse would seem to back you up:
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)
I know there is a time to address something negative (sin, disobedience, etc.) and there are times to speak as a prophet, but as you said, we (Christians) should not be in the business of pandering or sensationalizing.
I write about movies and trust me, there is a LOT of bad stuff, negative stuff, evil stuff in Hollywood. But I choose to write about the positive and, if/when possible, use that positive to point people to Jesus.
so no, I personally do not think that you are overreacting.
