At this time in my life, my favorite book of the Bible, on a personal level, is Nehemiah in the Old Testament. The Gospels are always important to salvation, but I find myself in my church tech role connecting with Nehemiah. One of the great things that I have been able to do is a devotional for myself within this book and found correlations between what Nehemiah has done to serve the Church and Kingdom of God in very practical ways, much like the sound booth and presentation controller run the tech on Sunday mornings or the social media manager puts together the tweets from the pastor for the week.

We are serving in a very similar capacity and I wondered, would anyone be interested in a church tech devotional going through the book of Nehemiah?

You already know I want you to do a devotional on this! 😛

It must happen! One day of devotional per chapter?

Daily devotional?

Count me in!
Nehemiah’s story is definitely one that resonates with me. I’ve discovered many principals and practical methods that can be applied to web work, and in particular website building and maintenance.

Love it! Now to figure out the time to do this sweetness!
