I tested Twitcam.com the other day in the airport waiting for my flight and was able to casually grab a product review from the person sitting right next to me.
Marc, who isn’t a Church-goer, but who’s family goes, helped me with a on-the-spot product review of Twitcam. He gave it a 5 out of 10.
Twitcam, a service from Livestream.com (was Mogulus), is pretty neat. You can quickly build a huge spread of viewers because every single time someone comments in the livestream they tweet out the link. (I can also see how annoying this can get as well).
I think this service would be particularly useful for interviews like the one I did, and perhaps other niche engagements. What do you think?

Interesting video and concept. I think the app is cool for this setting, where you can do an adhoc interview or something and let your twitter followers get involved, maybe ask questions and such… might have to give this a try if I ever get 6000 people who are interested in what I have to say too… hehe.
Thanks for sharing & hope you're having a great time at the conference!

A new twist on "man-on-the-street" interview. I see potential using the live feed on the church big screen for interviews, real-time communication with missionaries, etc. like it!

Love it, except that the whole world sees every chat I send out.
Applications that tweet your every move bug me, and I don't use them. 🙁
But the UI looks good, and it could be really splendid.
