We asked for submissions so that we could put together a new list of ChurchMag’s 30 Top Church Tech Blogs and you guys did not disappoint. With over 25 new submissions, we have never had a more powerful and accurate list (the 2012, 2013, and 2014 lists). The stats have been compiled and the results are in.
My tip to you: network with these people, add them to your RSS list, subscribe to the curated Twitter list (via @ChurchMag), and engage with them regularly.
How You Should Read The List
ChurchMag’s 30 Top Church Tech Blogs took stats from their website, social media networks, and Google PageRank to come up with a ranked list of the most influential Church tech blogs. While the formula is proprietary, we would love to discuss any parts of the list. The number in parentheses is the score given within the list. The mean score was 102.56 with a standard deviation of 4.66 points.
So how do you read this?
If this is your second or third time, by all means, go back and see where you ranked before. For those new to the list, do not look to see your blog’s rank as high or low on the list, but as the ability to find growth for your blog. While I won’t be sharing the actual numbers for all the line-items for all of the blogs, I would love to work with you individually on some specific areas for growth with your blog if you want to leave a comment below with your email address.
Curious How to Improve for 2016?
While we won’t be giving away our secret sauce in the algorithm, we can meet up with you via Google+ chat or Skype to share some differences that we noticed among the 45+ websites we reviewed for this and identify growth areas. Leave us a comment below if you are interested or shoot me an email or tweet.
Also, if you made it on the list this month, we are giving out Top 30 blog badges to show off to your audience — coming to your inbox shortly!

We’ve been writing some useful stuff over on the Faithmade blog recently. We don’t just provide a blog, obviously, but still useful for a church/tech/social audience. Would be cool if you could add us to the list as well:

We will have to wait until 2016 as it takes 15-20 hours to do this list each time. Do look for a call out in May-ish 2016 when we will ask for submissions again.

You’re too kind. ?
Jeremy Smith says
This is purely statistics based so you did this for yourself. No opinion added, otherwise I would have rated you higher.

Just read through the list and listened to the podcast episode as well. This is a great list of sites with plenty of great content to read and people to connect with.
However, can please reach out to me with your assessment as to why my blog didn’t make the list this year. I really want to know where I can grow in terms of content, presentation, and growth.
Don’t worry, if it’s too harsh I’ll email someone else for a hug 🙂
Jeremy Smith says
Stephen,
I’d love to shoot you an email. It’ll come your way this weekend and I promise a digital hug at the end.
