Now that Apple Watch has been out a while, it’s time to get familiar with the awesomeness of this new invention by letting you in on some of the functionality of the first major piece of Apple tech since Steve Jobs’ death.
Clear All Notifications
Now this is truly cool. When you’ve viewed all your notifications, just press firmly on the screen, then press the button that says “clear all.” Presto! No more notifications.
Toggle Between Apps
With this, you can double press the digital crown to jump back and forth between the app you were using and another app, such as the watch app itself.
Emergency Mute
Now this one is really handy, especially if you forget to silence your watch during a movie, and a notification comes in. Just hold your hand over the watch face for a few seconds, and you’ll receive a haptic tap to let you know your watch is muted, and you—or fellow movie-goers—will not be bothered. This is also helpful if you’re on a date and you want to be present with your beloved and not be bothered by notifications that can wait until you’re done.
Airplane Mode
In order to use airplane mode on the Apple Watch, you can do this in one of three ways. You can use the “Settings” glance by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, or you can go directly to the Settings interface, or you can simply ask Siri—Apple’s automated assistant—to turn airplane mode on. The catch here—for good or ill—that because your Watch syncs to your iPhone, your iPhone will also be in airplane mode.
Find Your Phone
Since some of us tend to be a little absentminded at times about where we’ve mislaid our handset devices, or if some folks have little kids who like to wander off with things, Apple Watch has come to the rescue. How this is works is you can “ping” your phone from the Settings, and the phone will make a noise even if it’s on “Silent.” Also, if you hold down the “ping” button for a number of seconds, your phone will even light up, allowing you to locate it easier than with just a noise.
Find Out What Siri Can Do For You
The good news about Apple Watch is that Siri, the automated assistant for both the Watch and the iPhone, is accessible even if the battery in your iPhone is dead. As long as you are within range of a trusted WiFi network, you’re good to go. Just say, “Hey, Siri, what are some things I can ask you?’ and ‘she’ will let you know.
These are just some of the wildly awesome tips and tricks out there for Apple Watch users. You can even ask Siri to find fluffy kitten pics, which is especially helpful if you’re stressed out and you immediately need calmness and smiles. All now available on your wrist. All these features are quite cool but still this is quite an expensive watch, you may get discount on this by using coupon at checkout of Apple store.
