Design inspiration comes easier to some than others and I’m definitely in the latter category. Whenever I’m stumped, I can usually get out a rut by looking at designs from others.
Here are three places that serve as a source of design inspiration…
Adobe Design Center Gallery
The Adobe Design Center has a lot to offer – aside from interesting things to simply, you know, view, they’ve got profiles of popular artists and their work. On top of that, Adobe offers tutorials and articles for all of their popular photo and video editing applications.
Best Web Gallery
Best Web Gallery is exactly what they claim to be – a gallery of some of the best work you’ll see on the web. The site has a slick UI, links to a wide array of designs, color schemes, and layouts, and they feature both XHTML and Flash designs.
Logo Pond
If you’re familiar with sites such as LogoTournament and 99Designs, then LogoPond will feel very familiar – it’s a site on which artists post their logo creations and then open them up for critiquing and feedback. Aside from getting pure inspiration from looking at others’ work, you can benefit from the comments of others.
I know there are a ton of other places out there that you guys use for inspiration. What are your favorites?
