Let’s raise the bar on this whole taking your work with you culture, shall we? It turns out that there are not one, but two different iPhone apps that integrate with Beanstalk, allowing you to monitor activity in your Beanstalk repositories, interact a bit, and even keep an eye on deployments.
You can find a quick write-up on the Beanstalk blog. I can certainly see the value in this but I’m still a bit caught off guard by the concept since most of the time that I would want access to this information a computer will be present.
Perhaps these apps will are best for tech leads and project managers who spend half their days in meetings. Then again, if that’s true, this should have been a BlackBerry app.
Just sayin.
