In a bid to get as many users on the Kindle device as possible (and maybe to shift stock to make way for a new tablet) Amazon have now introduced a lower priced version of the Kindle.
The lower priced version will save you $25 but will display advertising on the home screen and the screensaver.
In a time where many people are doing the largest part of their reading online and are used to having ads around, maybe this is going to be a good option for people who are wanting to join the Kindle party at a very affordable price.
Making the Kindle more accesable and getting more people with it in their hands has always been a good option for Amazon. The more people with a Kindle, the more eBooks they are going to sell.
This Kindle device is avaliable for pre-order and will be released on May 3rd, not long to wait!
