One of the neatest things that I had the pleasure of doing at the Drive Conference was meet a handful of talented builders, architectural, and audio-visual organizations that are passionate about creating church and ministry environments.
I’ve always thought that perhaps in another life I would have liked to make a career in architecture – the feeling of satisfaction must be amazing as you come to realize that hundreds (if not thousands) of people are connecting with God in the environments that you help create!
Pretty neat if you ask me.
The Moyers Group is one such organization that I had a few minutes with and I had no idea that they had actually helped create “The Attic” at North Point‘s Alpharetta Campus which is the Middle School / High School room.
The Attic is North Point’s environment for middle school and high school students, so having high-impact performance technology is key to connecting with the audience in a relevant way. When North Point decided that the sound system in the Attic needing upgrading they turned to Moyers Group.
Moyers designed, installed and commissioned a sound system including twelve Meyer Sound M’elodie line array loudspeakers, six 700-HP sub-woofers and a Digidesign Venue SC48 digital console.
They did a fantastic job and it sounds great.
So who have you used to help out with your audio-visual needs?
