Have you ever created your own website design?
Honestly, it does not take a college graduate to do that. But in 2013, it takes more than just a little HTML, Photoshop skills, and content uploaded online. This infograhpic gives brief history of web design, how far it has come, along with a strong list of professional statistics at the end.

Here are three huge things to note:
- Remember back when the only platform you had was a desktop? Until 2006, you really only had to worry about websites being a couple of dimensions. (480×640 or 600×800)
- The color palette has become much more “cool” but design has developed into user focused as it should always be.
- Two Internet browsers, Netscape and IE, shaped the whole of website use but with innovation and competition, they are only one of many solutions that have improved websites but caused fragmentation for developers and designers.
