The City, a ChMS web-based platform by Zondervan, announced yesterday features specifically designed for Children’s Ministry.
But they hope to take it one step further by making sure “community” is still a focus even while the kids are being checked in:
The thing about the other options out there is that they all seek to get the parents through the door and the kids into their rooms quickly, without thinking about how to get families plugged into the community of your church.
Well, we want to make sure—as with all we do—that enabling the mission of your church is at the heart of our solution to children’s ministry.
Interesting, right?
They are currently BETA testing this feature with a number of well-known churches such as Mars Hill Church in Seattle, WA and Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant, SC.
Check out this video overview after the jump…
Do you use The City? How do you think this ‘community’ focus is going to really impact the check-in / check-out process?
