… too many people.
Last night, at the North Point Online Prayer Service, we had more than a couple of people show up. We, as a team, had only a few expectations, but not many.
Very quickly though we realized that certain portions of our application were folding under the pressure, specifically the home-grown-last-minute live chat feature that I built the night before (due to a number of circumstances outside our control).
The problem? Too many people, and that’s a good thing.
The best problem an Internet Campus Experience can have is having too many people watching and using the service. I like those problems…!
But, we still have to fix it.

Couldn't you try using Livestream instead of Vidego? The chat feature is built right in. Or maybe switch to http://js-kit.com/echo/

It was a great night last night, I can't wait to see where this leads. We broadcast our college service (http://livestream.com/segue) through livestream, but haven't take it very far yet. I'm looking to you to see how we take our online worship experience to the next level. The possibilities are exciting!

If you need a fast, solid, easy to install chat application, I recommend http://cbox.ws/ The paid version is cheap, you can delete individual messages (which is a bonus) and ban by IP if needed.

yeah, but can it hold up to a lot of viewers?
