I remember seeing the dramatic television ads as a kid.
“Friends don’t let friends drink and drive.”
They were always dramatic and very persuasive.
As bad and fatal as drinking and driving is, there’s a new epidemic that is now claiming more teens lives.
Texting & Driving
According to a study by Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, more teens are killed texting and driving than drinking and driving.
These kids are not breaking the legal limits of drinking alcohol or taking drugs, no, these kids are simply using their phones.
How many teens do you know that have mobile phones? Of those teens, how many have cars or ride with friends who do?
All of them are at risk.
Friends don’t let friends text and drive.
