I love to blog, but I love reading blogs even more. I love reading them because I learn so much from other people. Just call me a nerd, it’s ok. So here are just a few suggestions of some blogs you should check out in 2016.
Brian Dodd – He blogs daily on leadership insights that are beneficial to those inside and outside the church. Check out his site – briandoddonleadership.com
Carey Nieuwhof – Not only does Carey blog, but he has a weekly podcast as well. Carey is the pastor of Connexus Community Church in Barrie, Canada. He blogs on leadership, church strategy and organization. Carey’s content is bound to challenge even the most experienced leader. Check out his site – http://careynieuwhof.com
Michael Stelzner – Michael is the founder of Social Media Examiner. The content shared by Michael and his company is geared towards digital and social media. Stay up to date on all the changes in the world of digital and social media. Check out the site and Michael’s podcast at socialmediaexaminer.com
Dave Adamson – Dave is the Social Media Director at North Point church in Atlanta, Ga. His content in that area is enough to follow him on Social Media. However, he is also an incredible photographer and has started a daily devotional on Instagram. Check out Dave and his Bible in Photos Devotional on Instagram at Bible in Photos
Life Letter Cafe – This is a compilation of many bloggers that come together on a daily basis to provide a ton of information from leadership to inspiration. Life Letter is led by David Miller. You can check out Life Letter Cafe at lifelettercafe.com
The TED Blogs – Because they are TED and Awesome. I love listening to the TED Talks as much as I enjoy the Blog. Check it out http://blog.ted.com
Relevant – Relevant is a beautiful mix of information. They Cover faith, culture and intentional living. Their stories tell the intersection of where a Christ-centered life is really lived. Their stories challenge assumptions as well as provide humor from time to time. Check out the blog at relevantmagazine.com.
NewSpring Church – The content on their website is more than just basic information about the church. NewSpring provides helpful articles about faith and life. Check out their articles at http://newspring.cc/articles.
Leadership Journal – The Leadership Journal site and magazine has great content for leaders of all kinds within the church. I am constantly challenged when I read articles to strengthen and grow my leadership approach. Check out their content at leadershipjournal.net
The Canva Blog – If you are a graphics person or just love creating in general, the entire canva.org site is fantastic. However if you desire to learn a little more, then head to the Canva Blog. Here you fill find helpful tips on creating great visual content for all areas of digital marketing.
These are just a few of the many blogs to check out in 2016. In fact I might have to do a second list!
