Every Christian has a story that I quantify has their own personal narrative. Apart of this narrative is the story of God who is the overarching narrative that hopefully we talk about every single day of our lives. It is in this storytelling that we connect to the narratives of other people that may or may not know Jesus and get to point them to the ultimate storyteller and who’s story ultimately can impress on each person.
So, with social media, blogs, and videos, how do we tell our story well on these digital platforms?
Here are three of my favorite ideas from below:
- Storytelling is not an advertisement or sales pitch. Quit confusing the two.
- Success stories associate positive traits to your ministry. If only we had one or two success stories within our personal or God’s narrative.
- Storytelling connects with emotions which can have far greater influences on our decision making.
Who do you know that tells their story well and connect it to God’s story perfectly?
