Every so often I have the opportunity to interface with businesses and people that are starting something completely brand new; something that often times looks like a startup but is much much more.
Ben Arment is one of those guys and what he’s doing with Story is something quite unlike anything you or I may have seen before.
First, you’re going to have to appreciate what they’ve done with the website, which is built in flash and is a virtual representation and recreation of The Eagle and Child Pub, where the likes of CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien chatted it up.
So what’s going to make Story (see StoryChicago.com, which is the first event that the new Non-Profit, HistoryTellers.org, is launching) different? What’s this all about?
I sat down with Ben last night and asked him those questions in a very makeshift “interview” of sorts which may go down as the very first “podcast” here on ChurchCrunch.
Huge thanks to @davidelmore who answered a late-night scream for help as I realized I totally botched the audio and he fixed it right up!
So check it out. We talk about Catalyst, Story, expectations, web technology, and more.

Perhaps a podcast is a good idea for this site. Could further the community and expand it.
