I love telling stories, and I am obsessed with finding new ways to tell stories that make full use of the technology available to us, especially when that technology is mobile.
I love a good app, and by the looks of it, I’m going to love Steller!

Everyone Has a Story
I’d wondered before about how cool it would be to arm the people on a missions team with cameras, but what if a number of them were telling stories powered by Steller? How awesome would that be? No need to do some fancy video editing or for blogging two-thousand words when you can piece together a compelling story in a single app!
I’m not sure what, if any, effect this will have on blogging, but I think that we’re coming to a point at which blogging will split into writers who’ll continue to write as they’re main means of communicating and multimedia creators, individuals who will combing a variety of media into a single story. Apps like Steller only make this seem much more likely, like its even nearer on the horizon than I’d thought.
Steller looks incredibly simple, which could make hi-tech, creative communication open to everyone. True, learning curves can crop up suddenly, but then again, how hard can it be to combine pictures, text, and video before sharing it on social media?
Steller will hit the iOS App Store on Thursday, March 13, and I, for one, cannot wait! I’ll let you know what I think of it once I’ve had some time to play around.

I tried it out and loved it, but it made me hate my pictures. 🙂 Nothing good enough to display in such a compelling way.

This app looks really, really cool! I’m going to download it and try using it. 🙂
And, I LOVE their demo video!
I work w/churches helping them develop stronger social media strategies and helping them utilize digital tools more effectively. This is a good tool to share w/them.

Awesome! I really hope you’ll be able to use Steller to equip some churches! We have the best story to tell, so it only makes sense that we should try to tell it the best. So cool!
