The rules of social media are still being written, but that’s not to minimize any of the great content that’s being pumped out on the blogosphere. The trick, of course, is to take in the various streams of information and data, sift out rank conjecture, identify common trends, and then decide what makes the most sense for your church/company’s social media strategy.
Or find a sweet infographic.
This little beauty, entitled “How Often You Should Post to Social Media,” was brought to my by SumAll, a neat little website that helps you collect data on your social media presence across several different platforms. Using data from a variety of sources and a partnership with Buffer, the social media management app, SumAll has produced a simple but important infographic presenting the most effective frequency of postings for a variety of social media platforms.
But then again, infographics are designed to be inherently easy to understand, so let’s just get right down to it.
Simple information presented simply but important, nonetheless. I think I’m going to have to rethink how often my church posts to Facebook.
How often do you post online?
Will this make you rethink your social media strategy?

Much like Sir Isaac Newton’s apple, it just fell into my lap, after hitting me on the head.
