Kickstarter is exactly what we need in society, especially in the church. It’s an innovation machine, and what I want to share with you is no different!
Sermonary—get the pun?—is a new software system to help pastors write their messages.
Sermonary comes with pre-made templates, resources/illustrations, and even a “Podium Mode” for use while preaching or even practicing on your own.
Currently, you can export your sermons to PDF, and it looks like they’re developing a DOCX export. Also being discussed for future development is a shared church staff account, which would be cool.
Let’s hear from the developers:
Seriously, the blank page is a monster, and anything that help conquer it is a welcome innovation. Sermonary looks very exciting, so if you’re a pastor who is constantly waging war with that blank page, you might want to look into this further. Also, because this is a Kickstarter campaign, there are various rewards and incentives for getting in on Sermonary before it goes live. Here are just a few:
Kickstarter backers will get early access to Sermonary soon after the campaign closes. If you can’t quite swing the money to get in early, Sermonary will be opened to everyone soon and will cost $9 a month or $99 a year.
