The world is changing and it is quite exciting. You can look at the Internet, augmented reality, and mobile devices as advances that have already happened. But the big one on the horizon is self-driving cars that will be coming sooner than later. Why is this important for churches? Think of the implications your church could have with this.
- Streaming into cars.
- A fleet of cars to bring people to church.
- Maybe even a mobile confessional?
I don’t know the limits of this, but I will say that we as church tech have an opportunity here. The video below is to help catch you up on why this is so important.

Self-Driving Cars are big topic here in Waterloo, ON (Canada)… the University of Waterloo has just received permission from the Ontario government to have three self-driving cars on Ontario roadways. It’s pretty cool technology and I can see a variety of uses for it for a lot of people… I might even find myself trying it out one day on a long road trip or something. Overall though, I love driving. I don’t think I’d be able to give it up so easily.
