Google is well-known for not only being the perfect search engine for your daily research needs, but works better than autocorrect in WORD. If I can’t remember the spelling of a word, I immediately type it into Google and under my textbox field almost always find the correct spelling. Google apparently can read my mind. But this autocorrecting actually has a secret little Google Easter egg.
Go to Google and type the word recursion and hit ‘Enter’.
See it? It’s subtle.
The definition of recursion is “the repeated application of a recursive procedure or definition.” So Google asking “Did you mean? Recursion” is a very subtle and yet fun Easter egg.
