This ukulele makes me hungry for a cupcake, how about you?
*sigh*
Maybe it’s because of the diet?
I don’t know, but I do know it’s time for some Saturday Sunday Share!
Here’s what was shared last week:
- Joanna – shared some great Bible study ideas!
- Dave Anthold – upgraded to Standard 3 and is getting ready to launch some cool stuff!

First off, I want one of those ukes!
This week I’ve mainly been watching the olympics! oh and making cool things from the LEGO Olympic minifigs: http://500px.com/jpc101/sets/lego_2012_olympics
However, I did do some work and got this new site going for a client: http://www.artandflo.co.uk/ (built on twitter bootstrap)

I love what you’ve done with the LEGOs!
(Twitter Bootstrap … nice!)

I did release “Church Video Summer School: July” last week and I’ve begun writing August. The second week of the podcast with me reading days 4, 5, and 6 is up. I’ve been writing my first WordPress plug-in. So far, I can replace the CSS in the backend and login page, append whatever I want to the bottom of a single post, and change the footer on the backend. If I can figure out the interface, it will be something that people other than me can use. Otherwise, I’ll use it for my blog only.
I’m starting to wonder what my next book will be and if I’ll take time off after “Church Video Summer School.”

Exciting stuff, Paul!

It has been a really busy two weeks – hence why I never posted last week.
Quick recap:
On Sat 21st my youngest son was born. On Mon 23rd my wife came home[0]. That evening I had an (undiagnosed) asthma attack. Went to the ER who told me I was merely anxious and gave me a sedative which knocked me out when my wife needed me the most. Was not happy with their diagnosis so I went to see my GP on Wednesday. He diagnosed me with asthma (lost 30% of my lung capacity) and a chest infection. Despite the infection and the breathing troubles, I still had to look after my elder son and keep the house in order. Never even switched my computer on before last Sunday, I think.
Last weekend I installed two security gates, and got the intercom system installed properly[1]. Also release OpenLP 2.0 RC2 (AKA 1.9.11)[2] – though thankfully I didn’t have much to do with it, my team did most of the work. It was also my elder son’s birthday, he turned 3 and got an awesome cape[3] from my brother and his wife.
This week I got the medical bills from the doctor, and saw how little my medical aid intends to pay out for it[4]. Please pray that I will be able to figure out how to get the money I need. I just don’t have that amount of money.

What a crazy two weeks!!!
The cape? AWESOME!
The medical bills? Lame.
The asthma? Lamer.
Prayer? Gotcha covered!
Raoul Snyman says
Thanks, I appreciate the prayers. Phoned my financial adviser today and we chatted about a few plans. I’m praying for wisdom on how to tackle the bills.
