This post was an enjoyable venture on my birthday – 52 Lessons from 52 Years. http://www.frankgantz.com/52-lessons-years/

I have been helping my wife launch her own blog at http://sweatersandsweets.com (using Pro Photo Theme). I have updated my website (http://www.everchangingmedia.com), added projects to my portfolio, and started blogging consistently. I have been working on multiple projects using Standard Theme and also creating child themes of TwentyEleven. Ohhh yeah, also started a new full-time job at the beginning of the new year.
How am I staying organized? I have been using Wunderlist (http://www.wunderlist.com). They have multiple apps for your iDevice, Mac, Android, or PC and have a web app the syncs them all up together. Check it out!

Nice sites Jason. And I know quite a few people on here (inc me) love wunderlist! Search for it up the top and you’ll find a couple of posts 🙂

Thanks for the kind words man!

I wrote up another blog post, interviewing some guys who are recycling computers for Christians and for witnessing: http://christianoss.org/blog/2012/01/10/recycling-computers-christ
I also wrote a small password manager, cause I was looking for something simple but decent, and couldn’t find anything. Once I have all the kinks worked out (and some blog posts on how I got it up and running), I will post the source code on Launchpad.
Yeah, open source, that’s how I roll.
James Cooper says
Great idea for the recycling computers. I’m sure with the optional OpenSong on, many churches could even use them for projecting in services!
Eric Dye says
I love this!

And finished scheduling posts for the rest of the month on the blog

It would help if they tightened up their URL’s, wouldn’t it?
(Without using this: https://churchm.ag/google-plus-vanity-url/)
Jeremy Smith says
No doubt! And connecting to like-minded users is still VERY difficult!

I played more with the wonderful Standard Theme (no live links yet – hopefully next week). Also coded a WP theme for a client (not using Standard!) and did some updates for clients.
On the musical front, I played the bass for the first time in a couple of months at a Service at my parent’s church, for the dedication of some new facilities for the community they’ve just had built.
I’ve also re-strung by bluegrass banjo uke style! Now sounds rather like a ‘cello banjo’. Will do some video and pop it on youtube!
Eric Dye says
Can’t wait to hear it, James!
