Is it the weekend already!?!
Let’s take a look and see what you guys have been up to this week. Remember, if it’s a category on ChurchMag, it’s fair game to share!
First, let’s take a look at what you guys rocked last week:
- Marcus Williamson – crushed on some serious designs.
- Aaron Wright – rekindled his passion for web design.
- Joanna – weaved a great post on … vending machines? 😉
- Brian Alexander – rocked a design for his BSU.
- James Cooper – launched a new charity site.
- Raoul Snyman – wrangled databases and penned some great posts!
- Duane Keil – produced an inspiring video (more to come?) for his Church.
Sweet!
I love seeing what you guys are up to and it’s encouraging to see all of those comments. 😀
This past week, I migrated almost a dozen sites to a new server. It was the first time I’ve done such an endeavor, so I learned all kinds of awesome stuff. Next week, I hope to share with you guys a new website I just finished up building.
Enough about that — let’s see what you’ve got!

What am I thinking. I also totally revamped my blog http://nathancreitz.net and designed a landing page for my speaking. http://nathancreitz.net/speaking.

LOVE the analogy!

This week I made another slideshow/video for a client, I put a quote together for a Church website (love making sites for Churches!) and started work on a PSD to wordpress job for a client.
But by far the most exciting thing is that I celebrated my first month as a ChurchMag author!!! https://churchm.ag/author/jamescooper/
Marcus Williamson says
Congrats on the first month man!
Dustin W. Stout says

And a new thing I’m trying to start is…
http://marcuswilliamson.com/whats-the-greatest-font-part-1
Would def love feedback on both 🙂
Dustin W. Stout says
Love them both! Great work! I left a comment on both of them, but for some reason the design inspiration comment got caught for moderation, yet the other one didn’t. hrmm…
James Cooper says
Really love the greatest font concept – as long as it’s not comic sans 😉
Eric Dye says
Love this stuff, Marcus. You’re so awesome.
Dustin W. Stout says
Made some design/framework changes to http://dustn.tv, and wrote a pretty lengthy post on social media management. Oh, and also wrote a fun piece here on ChurchMag, inspired by the conversation in another post on Church. “Conversation Creates Community.”
Eric Dye says
.. and it was EPIC.
Read it peeps: https://churchm.ag/create-social-media-community/
Marcus Williamson says
Read and cools

Been getting excited about Orange curriculum in the children’s ministry this Fall http://wp.me/pTKNb-h5, hanging out with children http://wp.me/pTKNb-hw, biking http://wp.me/pTKNb-hh, and learning about the whispers of the Holy Spirit http://wp.me/pTKNb-hF.
Eric Dye says
Busy!
Marcus Williamson says
We’re doing Orange at the church I’m rock’n currently. Good stuff Becky
Raoul Snyman says
Finished (hopefully) the last remaining feature that’s in OpenLP 1.2 that needs to be in OpenLP 2.0 (not yet in, here’s the merge proposal: http://code.launchpad.net/~raoul-snyman/openlp/song-audio/+merge/74002). Basically, it gives churches with no music team the ability to play a backing track with their songs. The audio files are stored with OpenLP, and even stored in the service file so that you can set up and save a service at home, and then just bring that service file to church with you and it contains the audio files already.
The other thing I did was to blog the second part of Introducing OSS into your church (http://christianoss.org/blog/2011/08/31/introducing-oss-your-church-part-2) and then just a quick blog about the first beta version of the upcoming Ubuntu release (http://christianoss.org/blog/2011/09/01/ubuntu-1110-beta-1-released).
Eric Dye says
My head is spinning … great work, Raoul!
Joanna says
Not much blogging happening for me this week, but I did manage to get a proposal done to present my research at a major Australian sociological conference. Really hoping I get accepted!
Marcus Williamson says
Hope you get accepted as well lady
