While I love using Compfight for free images , there are times that it’s not easy to source, cite and give credit for Creative Commons images.
When I am faced with this challenge, I’ve turned to MorgueFile in the past, but if you’ve done much digging around on MorgueFile, you’ll find it’s a real challenge to find a really good image.
Now I have found an awesome new resource to find top-notch photos that are free to use!
picjumbo
While I think you should cite these images when you can, these photos can be used for just about anything!
From the picphoto website:
Can I use photos for commercial use (for clients, etc.)?
Yes, you can.
Can I use photos for HTML/PSD templates I sell?
Yes, you can. Attribution greatly appreciated.
Can I use photos as a placeholders in my HTML/PSD templates or articles?
Yes, you can. Attribution greatly appreciated.
Can I distribute my PSD files with photos included in design?
Yes, you can. Attribution greatly appreciated.
Can I print it on t-shirts?
Yes, you can.
Can I use it in my PowerPoint presentation?
Yes, you can.
Can I resell the photos?
No, absolutely not. They’re free.
How can I support you?
There is many ways how to do it. The easiest way is to share picjumbo to your friends, also you can buy me a beer/coffee — check this page: Support us.
How do you like these terms of use?
While attribution is “greatly appreciated,” it isn’t required. So, as I said before, attribute when you can, but if you find yourself in a pinch, you should be good to go.
Start looking for your next awesome photo on picjumbo. 😀

BOOM! Thank you for sharing this. I’m still likely to give attribution, but a resource like this is awesome. Motivates me to want to pay for it.

Awesome find! Just in time for my Image series. I’m a little bewildered though that despite all the social buttons they have on there, a +1 isn’t to be found. #sad
Eric Dye says
You’ll just have to use our +1 😛

I refuse until you update that whack Google+ icon in your sidebar! lol I’ve made it so easy for you – here!
